long walk in the lake district

This is going to one more of my travel blogs. I cant seem to remember a weekend for the past two months when I have been home in Edinburgh. The last weekend was the best time out I have had, I recon. I had been to this place called Grange-over-sands south Lake District. Peter (friend since my masters) invited me and Apz for a weekend there with a few friends. His house is just overlooking the bay. Since I was the only vegetarian, I had to carry my food there and you can hardly get any vegetarian food there as it is a village and just has about three main roads.
We reached the place around 1 AM. Tiring drive it was for apz as he had driven some 250 miles that day, I had to take the wheels in for about 100 odd miles (I cant drive anymore on Indian licence as I need to get UK licence to do so).
The saturday morning we went out for a long walk on a hill for about three hours or so.
Yea, that jacket belongs to Mark and yea he serves for the UK army. He was deputed to serve in Iraq for sometime. He did tell us interesting stories. I wish I had taken my Cyle along. It would have been good place to bike in the Grange.
I am shifting houses this weekend and for the first time I will be living with a non-Indian. But I for a very short time as I wish to get out of this country by the end of the year.
