Revelation

It just dawned on me today, how much I am swayed by Pink Floyd. It seems to put me into a very pensive mood, probably a little bit depressed at times too. I think I should stop listening to floyd. The songs, are same old, songs which I have heard since the past years and this makes it really intriguing. Or it is just that I am looking too much into this.
It is really amazing, that little bits of music, can affect your mood swings. This is a perfect example of a concept called, Subliminal Perception. Anything that influences a person, below the conscious level is defined by sub-'liminal'. Perception without awareness, is a scary thing. It just like, the ground changing under your feet. If it was to do software, I would define mind as a register variable, so I always am aware of what changes happen from time to time.

Finally a good movie. I saw the movie in Inverness, when I was there last weekend. It is based on Frank Miler's graphic novels and shot black and white (well almost). It has a erie, sleezy, gloomy feel. The gory parts were I would say would not have made through the censor if it was in colour. I am not surprised that Quintin could be kept of the movie, and the story has a pulp fiction feel to it. The movie has a star studded cast and as usual Bruce Willis is brilliant. Benicio Del Toro role is staggering. Relentless gore and not for the faint hearted.

knock , knock...who's there??

Am listening to a song called Brain damage by pink floyd. There is one line, in the song " there is some one in my head, but its not me". I have been trying to analyse, comprehend, this line with respect with myself and others.
You can never really know who you are......
